Preventative care
For too long dentistry and medicine have sat separately, with oral health thought of in isolation to the rest of the body.
Studies now show that an unbalanced oral microbiome can have profound effects on the rest of the body, increasing the risk of Alzheimer's, heart disease, infertility, diabetes, and several other inflammatory conditions.

That’s why as dental practitioners, our work goes beyond creating the perfect smile. We are here to help your with your oral health, to improve your overall health.

The oral microbiome
An unbalanced oral microbiome can can lead to low grade chronic inflammation, which affects your overall immune system. There is scientific evidence proving that this imbalance is linked to other health conditions such as Alzheimer’s disease, diabetes, infertility, heart disease and others.
Improving your oral health can be easy. From making changes in your oral hygiene routine, to changes in your diet and lifestyle.
We offer oral microbiome testing - where we analyse all of the bacteria present in your mouth, so that we can work together on restoring its balance.
Calming, comforting
We know that for many people, a trip to the dentist can be unnerving. That's why from the outset, design has been a central pillar for us.
Working with the BBC's Interior Design Masters finalist, Matt Smith-Wood, we've created a truly tranquil space for you to visit and be looked after in.
From the soft, rounded lighting and curved furniture design, to the sounds and smells, every element of Sona has been catered to bring you peace and calm.
We know the dangers that stress can do to the body and so our space has been created to make you feel calmer, happier and ultimately, healthier.
