Surgical extractions

​A surgical extraction is a dental procedure where a tooth that is impacted or damaged is carefully removed by a dentist or oral surgeon. Local anesthesia is used to keep you comfortable, but we also offer sedation to patients who might be nervous for the procedure. 

Root canal

Root canal treatment (endodontics) is used to treat an infected or damaged tooth by removing the infected tissue at the centre of a tooth. Once cleaned, the area is sealed off to prevent further infection. At Sona, our in house Endodontist, is exclusively dedicated to this field. 

Periodontics

Our team are experts in maintaining healthy gums and by addressing issues like gum recession or periodontal disease, can help you achieve a healthy mouth and teeth. Regular visits to a periodontist can ensure your oral health stays on track, making it an essential part of your dental care routine. 

Bone grafting

Bone grafting is a surgical procedure that helps repair or rebuild bones by using bone tissue from another part of the body or a donor. We offer sedation across all of our treatments. 

Sinus lifts

Implants

A dental implant is a small titanium post that is surgically placed into the jawbone to serve as a sturdy foundation for replacement. We are proud to have an implant specialist in house at Sona, as implants are a fantastic solution for those looking to restore their smile and regain confidence after tooth loss.
